St. Charles Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Medical Assistant will be responsible for daily patient flow, gathering information, and anticipating physician needs. You will work closely with physicians and non-clinical staff to ensure comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.
Responsibilities:- Assist with patient intake and registration
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Take vital signs and record medical information
- Assist with medical procedures and exams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current MA certification from a recognized organization (e.g. AMT, NCCT, AAMA)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
- Ability to travel to business functions and meetings
