Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks
- Perform routine medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or equivalent experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures
- Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet all HIPAA requirements
- Competitive hourly rate: $24.08 to $30.10
