Job Description

Position Overview: Responsible for overseeing and ensuring a secure, enjoyable, and engaging atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Foster and maintain a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe environment for children participating in after-school and summer activities.
  2. Manage a classroom of 25 students alongside another educator, rotating through various activities every 45 minutes.
  3. Implement effective classroom management strategies.
  4. Engage in physical activities with the children.
  5. Collaborate closely with the Programming Director.
  6. Exhibit a professional demeanor and support fellow staff members.
  7. Handle computer and financial transactions competently.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of the facility and classrooms.
  9. Assist in training new staff members as needed.
  10. Respond promptly and professionally to all forms of communication.
  11. Contribute to the overall daily operations.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Candidates should be outgoing, possess a Christian faith, and actively pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ. Regular church attendance and experience working with children are essential. Must be at least sixteen years old, flexible with working hours, and willing to take on various shifts, including opening and closing. Ability to pass a drug test and verify citizenship is required.
