Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate resident activities, including events, programs, and outings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure activities meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
  • Coordinate with community groups to sponsor activities and events.
  • Assist with volunteer coordination and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident socialization and activity participation.
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly activity schedule.
  • Ensure activity areas are well-maintained and safe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate effective resident supervision and engagement.
  • Ability to utilize and apply basic time management principles.
  • Ability to recognize and communicate issues within the department and with residents.
  • Ability to relate to the public, residents, families, staff, and other professionals appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to facility policy and procedure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job.
