Job Summary

Lightmatter is seeking an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in architecture development with our chip architects by leading feasibility studies
  • Collaborate with other design engineering teams to translate system-level requirements into electrical design specifications
  • Lead the analog design and top-level integration of integrated circuits development
  • Design complex analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Plan DFT strategy and support its design implementation
  • Oversee the performance validation of the analog circuits in the lab
  • Support production test development and ramp to production
Requirements
  • MS with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry
  • Experience in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design
  • Solid fundamentals of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs
  • Experience designing complex blocks such as data converters, control-loop circuits used in power-delivery, high-speed interface circuits
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in advanced FinFET process nodes
  • Experience with Cadence Design Environment
  • Hands-on experience in the lab with silicon evaluation and validation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas
