Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Advocate Support Services, Inc.
About the Role:The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting our organization's HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and values.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Experience working in the healthcare or social assistance industry.
- Experience with HRIS systems, MS Office, ADP Workforce Now, and other HR-related software.
