Job Summary

Securian Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our Structured Assets team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating structured assets, identifying investment opportunities, and providing recommendations to our investment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate structured assets, including credit risk assessment and investment potential
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of structured asset markets, including primary and secondary markets
  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, including relative value analysis and risk assessment
  • Provide recommendations to our investment team on structured asset investments
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of structured asset markets
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets and risk models
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a structured analyst role, with a strong background in credit analysis and risk assessment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our investment team and other stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and risk models, with a deep understanding of structured asset markets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
