Job Title: Senior Manager, Sustainable Aviation Fuel

Chooose is a leading software company that enables the lower carbon fuel value chains in hard-to-abate sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Sustainable Aviation Fuel to join our team.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Sustainable Aviation Fuel will be responsible for guiding airline customers on how to plan and execute their SAF programs. This includes understanding and driving how customers leverage the Chooose platform to enable their SAF initiatives and broader decarbonization objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the airline customer's SAF program advisor
  • Advise internal stakeholders on technical specifications for SAF
  • Support complex software deployments
  • Maintain a balanced approach and multiple perspectives
  • Develop and refine documentation
  • Collaborate with multiple CHOOOSE teams to support execution of tasks needed to achieve customer objectives with high precision and quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, chemical, aerospace engineering from an accredited institution
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated success in technical enterprise engagements, management consulting, aerospace, aviation, or similar
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and experience with SAF, knowledge of jet fuel and/or refined products
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting, and familiarity with associated global climate policies, methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong technical proficiency of key software development processes
  • High agency problem-solver that takes initiative, is always learning, and quickly understands how to dissect and go about a new challenges with little guidance
  • Very detailed-oriented and strong analytical skills who can work independently on complex data problems and quickly identify gaps, enhancements and define solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to thrive in an environment with multiple stakeholders and work across multi-functional teams in different timezones
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrates the ability to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences, both internal and externally
  • Naturally curious and passionate about climate change, and understand how software can make a difference
  • Willing to be flexible with your work hours to support your colleagues and accommodate our global customers
  • Frequent travel at short notice
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English
