Parma City School District is seeking a qualified School Bus Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to operate our school buses and transport students to and from school. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safety of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Participate in pre-service and in-service training programs to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Meet all requirements for a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift and manage special needs students when necessary.
  • Good attendance record and ability to work a varied schedule.
  • Subject to Federal Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
