Job Summary:This is a part-time position requiring varying hours during the day shift, every other weekend, and some holidays. The successful candidate will assist in providing a program of activities for residents to promote physical, emotional, intellectual, educational, and spiritual development.
Main Responsibilities:- Implement instructions from the Director of Activities to accomplish an activities program for residents.
- Maintain one-to-one contact with residents and inform the Director of specific needs.
- Transport or escort residents to and from programs, including outings.
- Assist residents with bathroom facilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess good written and excellent verbal communication skills, as well as organizational abilities. They must be able to facilitate positive relations with residents, family members, and other departments.
Physical Requirements:The role requires repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Regularly lifting up to 50 pounds is also required.
Salary and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary of approximately $28,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
