Project Manager for A/V Integration

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Electronic Environments Corporation. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our A/V projects, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of A/V projects, including installation and system performance.
  • Ensure overall success of projects, verifying the vision of what was sold is comparable to what was installed.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, communicating with other trades and contractors to maintain project status.
  • Manage labor schedules, including scheduling of technicians and verifying timelines with other client vendors.
  • Manage financial aspects of all projects, working alongside project departments to match contract needs.
  • Supervise direct reports of technicians, including performance management and review of time entries.
  • Assist sales in creation and management of change orders for each assigned project.
  • Maintain organization of project changes within CW, connecting with various departments for project execution.
  • Determine action lists for assigned projects, clearly defining responsibilities for all stakeholders and scope of work.
  • Issue punch lists for remaining scope of work prior to clients moving in, providing weekly updates until all items have been satisfactorily completed.
  • Create project audits at project completion, providing accounting team with full project and labor list for accurate billing.
  • Perform quality checks and testing of all installed items as projects progress, ensuring installations are done to EENY standards.
  • Connect with service and sales team to issue a service contract with project completion, working with service team for accurate warranty documentation.
  • Perform system training at the end of each project for the client.
  • Lead project close out meetings, verifying that all documentation for the project is updated with any change orders that occurred over the course of the project.
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of experience in the design, installation, and oversight of A/V projects, preferably in home automation.
  • Demonstrated experience using project management software and tools.
  • Prior experience using ConnectWise a plus.
  • Industry certifications a plus.
  • CAPM or PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels, with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • OSHA 40 and SST certifications required or able to obtain within 3 months of employment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
