We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced psychiatric setting. This is a part-time, benefited position working nights with a 12-hour shift schedule and 0.6 FTE.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Assist and consult with physicians in the performance of procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Supervise and mentor staff, promoting a culture of safety and quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum six months experience as a Clinical Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN, and BLS.
