Role Overview: The Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for welcoming customers and gathering essential information required to address their vehicle issues. This role involves liaising with technicians and ensuring customer satisfaction with the services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and delegate daily tasks for service consultants.
  • Evaluate performance and provide guidance to service consultants facing behavioral or performance challenges.
  • Mentor, train, and oversee service consultants.
  • Assist at the service reception during busy periods by promptly greeting customers and collecting vehicle data.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies for the service drive are maintained.
  • Communicate with team leaders to assess job statuses.
  • Review daily open repair order reports and address any outstanding orders.
  • Collaborate with dealership personnel to guarantee high-quality service for customers.
  • Conduct quality checks on vehicles before returning them to customers.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm their satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations concerning hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Implement company safety procedures to minimize exposure to harmful substances.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive repair environment.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with dealership staff.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service expertise.
  • Preferred: One year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to operate an automobile.
