Job Summary

The Territory Sales Representative is a key role within Casella Waste Systems, Inc. responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within a defined market area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to acquire new customers and achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on Casella products and services, identifying opportunities to enhance selling and customer engagement.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase services to existing customers, developing a comprehensive account retention program and implementing internal growth strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize company pricing and profitability models to prepare and submit administrative paperwork for customer setup and account changes.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to achieve personal and company goals, communicating results to local management on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in divisional and regional sales meetings to stay informed and network with colleagues.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, with a background in environmental or sustainability fields.
  • Relevant sales certifications and eligibility to work in the US.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 80% of the time within a defined territory.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
