Job Summary:

Ferrellgas is seeking a Part-Time Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for our delivery drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propane Cylinder Handling: Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and/or tanks, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain the Service Center office and plant or yard for a professional appearance, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries, promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as filling out paperwork and maintaining records.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ years of work experience, preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a genuine commitment to providing superior service.
  • Authorization: Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
