Position Summary:

As a Material Handler, your primary duty will be to perform daily picking tasks within a warehouse environment. This position demands accuracy and speed, as you will utilize handheld devices to ensure the correct items are selected in the appropriate quantities from designated areas. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing any challenges that may disrupt the picking process.

Key Duties:

  • Execute daily picking tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize handheld devices to verify items, quantities, and locations.
  • Report issues that hinder the completion of picking assignments.
  • Identify and, when feasible, resolve inventory discrepancies related to picks.
  • Adapt to warehouse conditions, which may include varying temperatures typical of storage and receiving areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting, particularly in a warehouse picking capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Smart Sheets, and Teams.
  • Experience with transaction processing in an ERP system.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
