Job Summary:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for conducting daily picking activities within a warehouse setting. This role requires precision and efficiency, as you will use handheld devices to ensure the correct items are picked in the right quantities from specified locations. You will also be expected to escalate and resolve any issues that may affect the picking process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily picking activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Use handheld devices to ensure correct items, quantities, and locations are met.
  • Escalate issues that prevent picking work from being generated or completed.
  • Identify and, if possible, resolve inventory issues related to picks.
  • Work within warehouse conditions, which may include warmer or colder environments typical of a warehouse or receiving dock.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, specifically in a warehouse picking role.
  • Advanced proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft Excel, Smart Sheets, and Teams.
  • Experience performing transactions in an ERP system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
