About the Role

Ferrellgas is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of propane cylinders and tanks for our delivery drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair propane cylinders and tanks to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Load and unload propane cylinders and tanks from our dock, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Scrape and paint cylinders and tanks as needed to maintain a professional appearance
  • Provide exceptional customer service by supplying information and answering inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized Service Center office and plant or yard
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of work experience, preferably in a warehouse or material handling environment
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions
  • Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
