This position is essential for managing daily freight transportation activities to guarantee the effective distribution of timber products to clients.

Primary Duties:

  • Facilitate communication with the sales department to fulfill logistical requirements
  • Deliver outstanding customer support to various teams and uphold strategic partnerships
  • Input delivery routes for new shipping locations
  • Oversee freight billing and negotiate pricing with transport providers
  • Coordinate freight dispatch and collaborate with transport companies for timber delivery
  • Ensure prompt and effective distribution by coordinating with transporters
  • Operate independently with limited oversight

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the logistics sector
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with DOT, FRA, and AAR regulations
  • Background in customer service is advantageous
