Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our trucking transportation system.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with the sales team to support their logistic needs
Provide exceptional customer service to cross-functional teams and maintain effective strategic alignments
Develop and implement truck patterns for new delivery destinations
Process truck invoices and negotiate rates with carriers
Coordinate with carriers to ensure all loads are acknowledged and maximize efficiency and on-time service
Work independently with minimal oversight and perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
One or more years of experience in the transportation industry
Proven proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and presenting transportation data
Knowledge of DOT, FRA, and AAR rules and regulations
Customer service background is preferred
Prior experience with lumber products is a plus
Valid driver's license
