Responsibilities:

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical evaluation of repair capabilities, collaborating with Repair Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and MMT when special processes are involved, in accordance with the internal qualification procedures.

This role includes managing the eSQM system to initiate and conclude all qualification processes, ensuring timelines are adhered to as agreed with the Quality Leader and Shop Leader.

The qualification plan will also encompass farm-out activities.
Additionally, the engineer will work with the Quality Leader to define the annual Quality Plan and manage its execution to meet established targets.

They will oversee the eSDR and NCR systems, providing support to all shop roles to implement non-conformity approaches, including those related to suppliers.

Analysis of all NCR and eSDR will be conducted to propose an actionable continuous improvement plan to the Quality Leader, aimed at enhancing processes and procedures on a daily basis.

This analysis will not only track the Cost of Quality but will also involve dedicated efforts to maintain value within target limits and define action plans to optimize and prevent costs.

The engineer will be tasked with driving and enhancing quality control measures to eliminate defects.
They will create, refine, educate, and implement standard work practices to foster a quality-centric culture among operators.
Support will be provided to the shop in implementing processes according to procedures, as well as corrective or preventive actions stemming from non-conformance reports or defects.

Furthermore, the engineer will assist the Quality Leader in ensuring that Quality Management System processes are established, implemented, and maintained through internal audits, discussions with process owners, and reviews of existing procedures with suggestions for modifications.

Training of all personnel on documented company policies will also be a key responsibility, ensuring awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
At least 5 years of experience in quality roles is essential.
5+ years of relevant experience in the services industry is preferred.
