Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to join our team at Recruiting For Less in Washington DC. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to grow with our small business and contribute to the success of our legal printing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Scheduling: Coordinate and maintain print production schedules to ensure timely completion of print jobs.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of Xerox machines and bindery equipment to minimize downtime.
  • File Setup and Printing: Set up printing files in Adobe and Freeflow, print and review proofs, and make adjustments as needed for full print runs.
  • Pre-Production Setup and Project Workflow: Assist with pre-production setup and project workflow to ensure seamless execution.
  • Print Job Setup: Set up print jobs on perfect binder and saddle stitcher.
  • Shipping and Supplies: Create FedEx shipping labels and manage supplies.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to customer status emails and phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Printing Compliance: Review documents for printing compliance to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Local Deliveries and Filings: Facilitate local hand deliveries and filings as needed.
Requirements:
  • Computer Experience: Solid computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Initiative to learn and cross-train, with ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Availability: Availability to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $22-26 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, group life insurance, 7 company holidays, 2 floating holidays, and PTO. After 3 years of service, you will be eligible for our SEP retirement plan, which has been equal to 16-22% of your annual salary deposited into a fully vested IRA account annually.
