Position Details:
  • Full-time role
  • Work schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation Package:
  • Starting wage: $23.00/hr, based on experience
  • Eligibility for comprehensive benefits for employees working 24+ hours per week, including PTO, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K, and access to a Free Health Care clinic. Key Responsibilities:
As the Activity Director, you will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of programs, including:
  • Educational initiatives
  • Exercise classes
  • Social gatherings
  • Spiritual activities
  • Outings and special events
  • Individualized resident activities
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree or experience in a related field
  • Genuine passion for working with the elderly
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and execute activities for diverse groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel for creating activity flyers, reminders, calendars, and newsletters
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support other departments
  • Creative approach to designing engaging activities
  • Flexibility to accommodate special events during evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, volunteers, vendors, and visitors
