Activity Assistant Opportunity

Columbine Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team at Columbine Commons Assisted Living/Health and Rehab. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning and executing activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Activity Director in developing and implementing activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Plan and lead activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical exercise.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our residents.
  • Document resident participation and feedback to inform future activity planning.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with seniors, particularly those with dementia, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
