The College of Arts and Sciences at Lynn University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Criminal Justice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field and be able to effectively communicate with students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in accordance with college guidelines and curriculum
- Participate in the college's assessment program to evaluate student performance
- Respond to student questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Submit university reports and requirements, such as attendance, grades, and student progress reports, in a timely fashion
- Candidates must have a master's degree in a discipline related to Criminal Justice
- Preference may be given to applicants with a doctorate degree in a related field or previous post-secondary teaching experience
- Candidates must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be proficient in using technology for instructional delivery, such as learning management systems and presentation software
- Previous experience teaching courses in Criminal Justice
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and its components
