Adjunct Professor

Job Summary

The College of Business and Management at Lynn University is seeking a qualified adjunct professor to teach on campus in various business-related fields. The ideal candidate will have a doctorate degree in the relevant field and a strong background in teaching and academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with college guidelines and standards.
• Participate in the college's assessment program to evaluate student performance.
• Respond promptly to student questions and concerns.
• Submit timely reports and requirements, such as attendance, grades, and student progress reports.
• Contribute to the college's academic community through professional development, curriculum advancement, and service contributions.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in the relevant field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the area of specialization.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional delivery, such as learning management systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and engage in leadership activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional graduate hours in business-related fields, such as economics or accounting.
• Previous experience teaching business statistics, data analytics, or related quantitative business decision sciences.
• Administrative leadership interests.
