About this Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to join our team at Palm Beach State College. As a Philosophy Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver discipline-related curricula that meet the needs of our students.
  • Assess student learning and participate in program evaluation to ensure the highest quality education.
  • Maintain college and department standards in support of our mission and strategic plan.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and be available to teach on multiple campuses as needed.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Philosophy or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy.
  • The ability to demonstrate cultural competency and work effectively with a diverse student and employee population.
  • Proficiency in using technology in the classroom and the ability to use the technology required for assigned courses.
