About this Role

Palm Beach State College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach English Composition courses. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct college students in English Composition courses, utilizing educational theories and techniques to promote student learning and success.
  • Develop and implement discipline-related curricula, assessing student learning and participating in program evaluation.
  • Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, or Linguistics, or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English, Literature, Creative Writing, or Linguistics.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom and utilize the technology required for assigned courses.
  • Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.
