Job Summary

The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents at Norwich Springs Health Campus. This dynamic individual will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaged community, fostering connections among residents, and providing exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wellbeing Checks: Regularly check in with residents to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Meal Service and Social Events: Assist with meal service preparation, greet residents, and help resolve any concerns.
  • Transportation and Outings: Schedule transportation for personal and group outings, suggesting activities and coordinating logistics.
  • Community Updates and Reminders: Provide daily updates on campus activities and send reminders as needed.
  • Recreational Activities: Plan and lead recreational activities, such as movie nights, games, and exercise sessions.
  • Food and Beverage Services: Bake cookies, brownies, or other snacks in the common areas and plan food events.
  • Family Support and Communication: Assist with family calls and respond to family concerns and questions.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning tasks, including pulling trash, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining common areas.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Take pictures and post updates on social media to promote the lifestyle and community.
  • Volunteer and Instructor Coordination: Coordinate volunteers and paid instructors for activities, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, and massages.
  • Community Building: Introduce residents to one another, create a neighborhood feel, and plan activities to foster connections.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in Conflict Resolution
  • Knowledge of Long-Term Care Services
  • Proven Ability to Maintain Professional Conduct and Confidentiality
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record
