Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist I to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic scans and operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment and procedures.
  • Interpret information to identify patient requirements for care relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Contribute to a safe patient environment by adhering to principles of First Do No Harm.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.
  • Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT, required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
