The Electrical Automation Engineer is a key member of the LevelUP HCS electrical team, responsible for designing and implementing efficient control systems for custom equipment and automation.

From sales and engineering to marketing and manufacturing, our diverse work environment makes every day exciting. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop accurate control ladder diagrams, PLC, and PC-based control schemes
  • Establish and maintain efficient power, wiring, and control standards
  • Present data analysis and recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Monitor controls and equipment remotely
  • Design simple and generic systems that integrate hardware and software
  • Interpret equipment requests and develop design specifications
  • Design control systems, including HMIs and touchscreens
  • Maintain knowledge of industrial controls and their application in the finishing industry
  • Assist with commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency response, consulting, warranty, repair, and technical direction on industrial electrical equipment
  • Participate in multi-discipline product development and corrective action teams to address product cost, quality, and delivery concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0-3 years of experience
  • Good general knowledge of automation and controls concepts
  • Good general knowledge of good programming practices
