Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team at Menards. As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect installation sites to ensure safe and efficient operation of robotic systems
  • Maintain inventories of production supplies, including sensors and cables
  • Document robotics test procedures and results
  • Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components
  • Train Team Members and other personnel to install, use, or maintain robots
  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or robotic systems
  • Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field and at least three years' of related industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical ability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use tools and perform tasks such as soldering, welding, and metal cutting with precision and accuracy
  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring and computer software engineering
  • Extremely proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create accurate drawings and schematics
