Key Responsibilities:

  • External Communications (30%): Assist in creating presentations for senior management and prepare various outward-facing documents. Edit materials for clarity, accessibility, and formatting, and provide support in graphic design.
  • Legislative Documentation (30%): Facilitate the scheduling and execution of meetings for legislative reports, assist in organizing report archives, research relevant statutes, and maintain a comprehensive tracking system.
  • Training Material Development (20%): Contribute to the creation of training materials and assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions across the organization.
  • Website Management (20%): Review and update content on internal web pages to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess issues and direct them to the appropriate channels.
  • Knowledge of agency, state, and federal regulations and policies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with health and human services programs.
  • Background in public health or related fields.
  • Experience in customer service roles.

Initial Selection Criteria:

  • At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A minimum of one year in customer service coordination, report development, data management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
