The Role

Our internship program is designed to attract top talent from universities across the country. We seek individuals who can think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a summer intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and field operations, laying the foundation for a successful career in construction management.

During your 9-week internship, you will be exposed to the day-to-day business and financial management of our projects. You will work closely with our project management team to coordinate tasks, track materials, manage files, and report progress. Additionally, you will have the chance to work in a field role, assisting with safety procedures, project coordination, and quality control.

Responsibilities
  • Gain an understanding of project management and financial management
  • Support the project management team with coordination, material tracking, and file management
  • Assist with safety procedures, project coordination, and quality control in a field role
Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program
  • Civil Engineer, Construction Management, Business, and Liberal Arts degrees considered
  • Demonstrated interest in the construction industry
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, talk or hear, perform fine motor skills, and use a keyboard or telephone. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
