Job Summary:

The position of Sr. Loan Agent is responsible for the processing of a mortgage loan from origination to funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build long-term relationships with clients while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze client financial information to determine suitable loan products.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are received from clients in a timely manner.
  • Accurately input loan data into software applications and collaborate with Loan Processors to meet file requirements.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of clients through effective follow-up and communication.
  • Monitor daily performance and identify areas for improvement with Team Manager and Loan Agent Trainer.
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to leads and clients.
  • Sell and produce loans to meet monthly production goals.
  • Update client files daily and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in mortgage sales in a high-volume call center.
  • Experience with NON QM products is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, pleasant phone manner, and knowledge of the mortgage industry.
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic personality with high motivation.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high energy.
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Internet, and average typing skills.

Education and Certification:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid NMLS license.
  • NMLS SAFE ACT compliant.
  • Continuing education to maintain MLO license status.
