Job Summary

A Sewing Production Specialist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sewing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate sewing machines, following written instructions and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Read and understand job tickets, following production schedules and workflows.
  • Perform routine maintenance on sewing equipment, adhering to safety policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to achieve quality control and efficiency goals.
  • Fulfillment work, packing fabric and materials for shipping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a sewing operator or in a related manufacturing role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Experience with Impulsa and Juki sewing machines is a plus.

Work Environment

This role operates in a production environment, requiring the ability to stand, walk, sit, and see for extended periods. The employee will regularly use standard equipment, including manufacturing sewing machines, presses, and forklifts.
