Job Title: Specimen Processing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Processing Specialist to join our team at Bayone. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Specimen Processing Department by performing various tasks, including data entry, specimen processing, and laboratory support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed, meeting productivity standards.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Assist in the imaging and microfilming of specimens, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen processing and delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Bayone's safety and compliance policies.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical background or laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of computers and laboratory testing principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Working Conditions:
• Work in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits and adhering to Bayone's safety policies.
• May be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and focus.
