Position Overview:
The Regional Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and adherence to our Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) across various divisions. This role will ensure compliance with safety regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, creating a secure work environment for all employees.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the homebuilding sector is preferred.
  • At least seven (7) years of combined experience in construction, risk management, industrial hygiene, or related fields, including hands-on experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • 30-hour OSHA Outreach Certificate/Card is required.
  • OSHA Outreach Trainer #500 Certification and CHST, ASP, or CSP certifications are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and company policies.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to produce accurate work.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a strong work ethic.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in data management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
This position primarily involves office work, requiring the ability to operate computer equipment and perform tasks such as speaking, hearing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Lennar's IIPP across divisions.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and divisions to develop and manage workplace safety protocols.
  • Provide safety compliance guidance to all organizational levels.
  • Engage regularly with associates responsible for safety.
  • Support the establishment of division safety committees and attend their meetings as needed.
  • Monitor the timely completion of safety meetings and inspections.
  • Assist in developing and delivering safety training for associates.
  • Participate in the formation of safety alliances within regional markets.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management.
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of company-wide safety training initiatives.
  • Assist with safety-related regulatory matters as required.
  • Investigate accidents when necessary.
  • Aim to minimize safety violations and potential litigation.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Travel to various corporate and division offices as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
