Position Summary
Fleet Response is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Customer Service Specialist. This position is responsible for collecting the necessary documentation to complete a subrogation demand and communicating with relevant parties.

Job Responsibilities
The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for:
- Answering calls professionally and directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Assisting clients and drivers with obtaining rental vehicles, reporting accidents, and providing roadside assistance.
- Gathering all required information from callers and accurately entering it into the system.
- Locating nearby rental agencies or body shops and providing clients with necessary information.
- Managing vendor inquiries and issues as needed.
- Coordinating with towing and glass repair services.
- Communicating with clients to secure approvals for rental upgrades or additional requests.
- Providing assistance with any questions or issues related to car rentals or claims.
- Backing up all fax/email claims submitted.
- Maintaining professionalism and courtesy in all communications.
- Supporting other departments with projects as required.
Evening Responsibilities:
- Sending loss notices for non-drivable vehicles.
- Handling notifications regarding serious injuries or fatalities as needed.
- Assigning body shops for non-drivable vehicles when necessary.
- Coordinating rental car arrangements if in-house representatives are unavailable.
- Ensuring proper phone line transfers and office closure procedures.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; minimum of six months related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or car rental is preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic and able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Technical Skills: Competent in using computers for email and internet access, with basic Windows skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and address problems involving concrete variables.
Work Schedule:
During the training period, schedules may vary based on trainer availability. Following training, shifts will be assigned. The position requires full in-office presence initially, with potential for hybrid schedules after the training period. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required.
