We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at Southland Industries. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our commercial MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate the impact of project changes and provide information to applicable management.
  • Manage change orders, ensuring they are completed accurately and tracked as required.
  • Procure equipment, materials, and services, and participate in the selection and hiring of subcontractors.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies.
  • Analyze and resolve basic questions and problems as needed.
Requirements
  • A four-year degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Entry-level position with a strong foundation in project management principles.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and plumbing drawings.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office products.
