Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at the SAP Center. The Event Coordinator will assist the Event Managers in creating exceptional experiences for guests at SAP Center and Tech CU Arena.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting and/or verifying required set-up tasks are complete and properly set.
- Coordinate with tour VIP party to ensure space is set and ready for doors to open.
- Assist with barricade breakdown at the end of the show to prepare for load-out.
- Establish and maintain rapport within and outside of the organization.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate working knowledge with core computer programs used for day-to-day business needs.
- Clean DMV record and ability to pass a standard background check.
- Must be willing to obtain any licenses, certificates or training required by local, state or national authorities.
- Must reside in the Bay Area as we are unable to pay for relocation or travel expenses.
- Must be available to work 20+ hours per week including days, evenings, weekends, and events as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
- Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
