Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience, as well as an excellent benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionThe Regulatory Affairs Analyst will report directly to the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations. This role requires substantial technical skill in finance, economics, and statistics, with a focus on rate analysis, financial and economic analyses, long-range financial forecasting, and budget development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing financial operations and expenditures to assist in the preparation of the budget and long-range financial forecasts.
- Developing forecasts of rates, revenues, and debt to predict ongoing operations, major improvements, and levels of financing and revenue required to support planned activities.
- Representing the Company and interfacing with the PUC staff on matters related to filings, applications, and complaints.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a closely related field.
- MBA or CPA or equivalent financial and accounting experience.
- Experience in regulated utility environments or similar fields.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
