Job Summary

SP Plus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our parking operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless parking experience for our customers, while also assisting the maintenance team with keeping common areas clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers have a positive and efficient parking experience, facilitating the flow of traffic through the facility.
  • Assist customers in making payment to automated revenue control equipment, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience, guided by the SP Plus Corporation Promise.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities at the assigned location, including monitoring parkers in pay-in lanes and making change as needed.
  • Conduct garage and facility audits as required by management, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Provide directions to city locations and assist customers in getting where they need to go quickly and easily.
  • Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor, ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress code and uniform standards.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be prepared to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software or a high aptitude for technology.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record (if required to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language, as well as effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions, and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment

The work environment is subject to all weather conditions, including precipitation and wind. The exposure level to vehicle emissions is moderate to high, and the exposure level to extreme hot/cold temperatures is also moderate to high. The work environment is subject to bright sunlight and nighttime working conditions.
