About the Role

Sugarbush Resort is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead the team at Rumble's Bistro and Bar, our premier restaurant located at the base of the mountain at Lincoln Peak.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective restaurant operations strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of restaurant staff, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure seamless execution of large group events and banquets, working closely with the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Monitor and control labor and COG costs, maintaining a high level of profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to promote specials and events, driving revenue and customer engagement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • 2-year minimum experience in restaurant supervision or management.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of menu layout and verbiage, with the ability to train staff on menu items and promotions.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Valid food handler's license and VT Liquor certification required.
