About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our Data & Analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cross-brand analysis to support US enterprise workstreams and meet the needs of the US Pharma business.
  • Create presentations and communicate results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the offshore team, guiding them on various projects, setting project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Commercial Insights, Finance, and Marketing teams.
  • Standardize analytic processes to monitor and measure promotional performance across brands continually.
  • Develop, document, and articulate US modeling assumptions, inclusive of opportunities and risks, to communicate aligned US recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics.
  • Problem-solving and data analysis skills, working knowledge of various statistical modeling techniques, and their application within complex analytical projects.
  • Experience with pharma data sources, including promotional data, Xponent, DDD, and Patient-level data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in computer science or a related field, with 4+ years of indicative experience in developing product-level ML algorithms.
  • Demonstrated experience creating production-level Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools and Apache Spark.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong understanding of promotional impact assessment approaches and ability to translate analytic results into investment guidance insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders and offshore teams, with strong execution ability to run and manage end-to-end analytical projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior technical and problem-solving skills, with in-depth knowledge of various secondary databases.
