Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the admissions office operations in inpatient rehabilitation facilities
  • Maintain accurate statistical data within the information management system
  • Ensure all referral documentation is completed and organized
  • Provide daily updates on census and referral information to hospital administration
  • Facilitate timely data entry for pre-admission, admission, and registration processes
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and address inquiries
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is mandatory; some college education is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions or medical insurance is advantageous
  • Experience in managing patient admissions is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of insurance policies and admission procedures
  • Competence in recording admission requests
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Compensation:
