Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the admissions process within inpatient rehabilitation facilities
  • Maintain accurate statistical data in the hospital's information systems
  • Ensure all referral documentation is completed and organized
  • Disseminate accurate census and referral information to hospital staff daily
  • Manage timely data entry for pre-admissions, admissions, and patient registrations
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and address inquiries
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is mandatory; some college education is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions or medical insurance is advantageous
  • Experience in managing patient admissions is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of insurance policies and admission procedures
  • Proficient in managing admission reservations
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
