Job Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role encompasses a variety of essential tasks, which may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Establish and maintain a respectful and professional rapport with all clients, vendors, colleagues, and supervisors. "Treat others as you would wish to be treated."
  • Operate parking enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of seat belts and compliance with local and state traffic laws.
  • Mark tires of vehicles parked in non-metered areas, documenting times and returning at designated intervals.
  • Issue citations and notices for parking violations to vehicles lacking payment or valid permits, ensuring accurate recording of vehicle details as necessary.
  • Perform data entry tasks using electronic devices as required.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation for each shift accurately.
  • Safeguard company property and equipment from potential damage or loss.
  • Notify supervisors of any vehicles that meet the criteria for impoundment.
  • Prepare incident reports for any claims of damage or to document unusual occurrences during shifts.
  • Ensure accurate completion of shift reports, security logs, and any other required documentation.
  • Submit time cards accurately as per requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times, wearing the designated uniform and displaying an identification badge when required.
  • Exhibit regular and consistent attendance during scheduled hours and the willingness to work overtime if necessary.

Supervisory Duties:

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: To effectively fulfill this role, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, along with one to three months of related experience or training preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Licenses: A valid state-issued driver's license and proof of insurance are required. Candidates must be able to pass a company driving skills assessment.

Language Skills: The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English is essential. Candidates should also be able to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group settings to clients, customers, and other employees in English.

Mathematical Skills: Candidates must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of American currency.

Reasoning Ability: The ability to apply common sense in performing duties and to follow written and oral instructions is required. Candidates should be able to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Employees frequently walk and/or run, and occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds is occasionally required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: Employees may experience frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, as well as outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate and occasionally loud.

Additional Information: Employees may be required to transfer or relocate to another facility/location without prior notice. All employees are subject to internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to the handling and depositing of money received and other assigned duties. Failure to comply with audit standards may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment.

Compensation: We maintain broad salary ranges for our roles to accommodate variations in experience, training, skills, geographic location, and market conditions.
