Senior Meat Cutter

Job Summary: As a Senior Meat Cutter at Walmart, you will be responsible for driving sales in your area, delivering high-quality meat products to our members, and working collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations, and provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, and utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure commitment to operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a work area according to company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, value the member's experience in the meat area, and model high-quality service and products.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
