Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs
  • Repair and replace diesel engine components, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and diagnose problems
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair complex issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
